SEATTLE ... Just four years after becoming Seattle’s first cidery since Prohibition, Seattle Cider Company is thrilled to celebrate new states, expanded production and a year of big growth with an anniversary party unlike any other.  Taking place Saturday, August 26 from 1-7pm at its Seattle tasting room, The Woods (4660 Ohio Ave S, Seattle, WA), Seattle Cider Company invites cider lovers to join in the fun with an extensive rotating tap list featuring brand new ciders, experimental exclusives, seasonal selections, core favorites, and a few surprises.

“We have so much to celebrate this year,” said Joel VandenBrink, founder & CEO of Seattle Cider Company. “We’ve launched in new markets. We are releasing new products, and constantly growing. These are exciting times for Seattle Cider Company and worthy of celebrating!”

Now available in 14 states, Seattle Cider Company hit the scene in August 2013 focusing on uniquely dry, handcrafted ciders made with real ingredients. The cidery’s products continue to successfully bridge the gap between beer and wine, offering up delicious staples and adventurous seasonals in its signature 16-ounce cans. Projected to produce 24,000 barrels (750,000 gallons) in 2017 – a 27% increase over last year – the growing cidery plans to launch Massachusetts in September and a host of new states in early 2018.

To celebrate, at its fourth anniversary celebration on Saturday, August 26, Seattle Cider Company will feature a very special tap lineup for the day. Including more than 20 rotating cider taps, offering everything from year round favorites and seasonals to barrel aged ciders and special releases, ciders available for the anniversary party will include:

Seattle Cider Company’s Anniversary Party also marks the first availability of Pumpkin Spice (6.9% ABV and 2.6 Brix), a seasonal offering available August through November. This semi-sweet cider is copper in color and perfect for fall. Fermented with cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, and cloves, it offers hints of the seasons favorite spices, followed by just a touch of pumpkin.
