SEATTLE ... Summer is officially here and Seattle Cider Company is celebrating with an entire day of rosé cider on tap! ...
“Rosé is my go-to beverage all summer long and our ciders offer the perfect balance,” said Caitlin Braam, president of Seattle Cider Company. “They’re refreshing, crisp, fun, easy to drink, and best of all, pink! This event is the perfect chance to try all the flavors of the season in one place, plus pick up cans and bottles for sharing with friends.”
Featured ciders for the day – and rotating throughout the month of July – include:
Berry (6.9% ABV, 1.8 Brix): Crafted with locally grown raspberries, blueberries, and blackberries, this summer seasonal is both accessible and full-flavored. Softly tart at the start and softly sweet on the finish, Available in 16-ounce cans.
Cucumber Hibiscus (6.9% ABV, 0.8 Brix): The newest exclusive to The Woods tasting room! Sparkling rose gold in color, this cider offers fresh, sweet berries on the nose. On the palette, you'll notice the refreshing and crisp nature of the cucumber leading into a pleasant and bright hibiscus finish. Draft only.
Gravenstein Rosé (6.9%, 0.75 Brix): The jewel of the Harvest Series, early season Gravenstein apples are aged in Mourvédre red wine barrels to create one of our favorite ciders of the harvest. A bouquet of fruity, berry-like aromas shines through in this floral, citrus forward cider.. Available in 500ml bottles.
Winesap Rosé (6% ABV, 1 Brix): A new addition to our Harvest Series, Winesap Rosé features one of Washington’s oldest fruits. A single-varietal aged in Syrah red wine barrels, these small Naches Valley apples are both aromatic and tart, offering a beautiful full-bodied cider with flavors of grapefruit, lemongrass and cedar. Available in 500ml bottles.
Wild-Fermented Raspberry (6.9%, 1 Brix): A tasting room exclusive, this unique cider is as beautiful in color as it is bold in flavor. Using fresh raspberries from last year’s harvest, this cider was made by wild fermenting raspberries with our house apple blend. This one-of-a-kind cider smells of a raspberry field in the late summer, offering the perfect blend of tart and dry. Draft only.
