Join Capitol Cider for Barrel Fest, kicking off Monday, July 25, for barrel-aged ciders, a new selection of barrel-aged brews, plus a bottle pour option this time around. The full lineup will be released in the next week, but here’s a sneak peek of highlights to get those taste buds nice and thirsty:

BARREL-AGED CIDERS
Liberty Stonewall, Finnriver Firebarrel, Finnriver Oak & Apple, Finnriver Pear Wood, Millstone Hopvine, Reverend Nat's 2015 Barrel Aged Lorrie's Gold, Ace Blackjack 21, Anthem Barrel Aged Fresh Hop, Wandering Aengus Barrel Aged Wickson, 2 Towns Barrel Aged Nice & Naughty, 2 Towns Return of the Mac, Seattle Cider Co. Gravenstein Rosé, and more.

BARREL-AGED BEERS
Lagunitas High Westified Stout, Anderson Valley Salted Caramel, Two Beers Fall Line, and Avery Vanilla Bean Stout, to name a few.

Capitol Cider’s female focused farm-to-table dinner series is back. Six female chefs, six courses (using ingredients from female female producers whenever possible), paired with six ciders. The best and brightest in up-and-coming lady chefs from restaurants around the city join forces to create an experience sure to delight the senses. The lineup is below. The theme is Garden of Eden and the event will feature ciders from Eden Specialty Ciders. The $90 dollar tickets include six courses of both food and cider pairings; tax and gratuity are in addition to the ticket price. Email info@capitolcider.com to reserve your seat.

On Saturday, July 23, come on down (literally) to Capitol Cider’s 3rd annual Under the Block Party. Whether you're seeking air conditioned respite from Capitol Hill Block Party just steps away, or looking for a cost-effective alternative, the downstairs lounge has it all. They’ll play live music on the stage all evening and offer $5 Talls and Calls - a tall boy and call a shot off the wall. Downstairs is 21+ but all ages are welcome upstairs. Rock on.
