Portland, Oregon ... Stung Fermented, a Portland meadery, announced the expansion of their production facility to now include hard cider. To better reflect the diversity of their offerings, Stung has changed its name to The Oregon Mead & Cider Company.
Oregon Mead & Cider Co. is family-owned and operated and proudly offers two lines of dry, sparkling meads and one line of dry, sparkling ciders. Meticulously crafted from Northwest ingredients, all of Oregon Mead & Cider Co.’s offerings are gluten-free and unfiltered, with no added sulfites.
Oregon Mead & Cider Co.’s tasting room is open Tuesday through Saturday from 12PM until 7PM. Located at 2117 NE Oregon Street in Portland, they offer free daily tours of their production facility, as well as guided tastings of their various offerings. Additionally, they happily fill growlers of mead and cider right out of the tasting room and feature an entire lineup of retail offerings.
Founded in 2013, Oregon Mead & Cider Co. owes its success to the precisely honed recipes of Brooks Cooper. As Chief Fermentation Officer, Brooks has been crafting mead, cider, and beer for over 25 years.
