 Saturday and Sunday, Cider Riot! hosts its 3rd Annual Fruit Cider Invitational, with over 20 Oregon made fruit ciders pouring on the patio and in the pub. The festival has been a regular feature of Oregon Cider Week since 2016.

 The festival celebrates the bounty of trees, bushes and vines from Oregon and beyond. “We’ve hand-picked some of our best ciders that go one step beyond the apple from our own cellar and from some of our favorite Oregon cidermakers,” says Cider Riot! cidermaker and founder Abram Goldman-Armstrong.

 The Fruit Cider Invitational is a two day event held June 23th and 24th at Cider Riot, located at 807 NE Couch. The invitational is open to everyone 21 and up to attend and runs from 2:00-8:00 pm on Saturday and 2:00-8:00 on Sunday. Minors are welcome Saturday. The festival benefits SMYRC, The Sexual and Gender Minority Youth Resource Center.
 
“It’s true that all cider starts with apples, but we wanted to celebrate the diversity and creativity of ciders being crafted with other fruits,” says Abram Goldman-Armstrong. “From lowly strawberries to lofty lemons, we’ll have it all.”

Porch Logic Gallery Opening
Also debuting this weekend is Porch Logic, an audio/visual art gallery and lounge, located upstairs from the Cider Riot! pub. The gallery's digital canvas blends layers of painted artwork in a mesmerizing display of color and geometry, featuring artist Sean Lambert.
