SEATTLE ... The Northwest Cider Association announces the eighth annual Washington Cider Week, celebrating all things cider between September 6-16th. This 11-day celebration invites everyone across the entire state, from cidermakers to chefs, to showcase Northwest cider in a variety of special events, featured menus, happy hours, brunches, tap takeovers and more. Washington is the largest producer of apples in the United States and cidermakers are proud to showcase locally made cider from these apples.
Washington Cider Week’s largest event provides a chance to sample more than 150 selections from around the world at Cider Summit SeattleSeptember 7th and 8th, followed by a bevy of beverage bashes ranging from educational “how-to” workshops to rare barrel tastings. About Northwest Cider Association:
Formed in 2010, the Northwest Cider Association brings cideries and cider lovers together to share knowledge, experience and live the Northwest cider culture. We are a trade organization formed by cider producers throughout the Pacific Northwest to promote awareness of regional artisanal ciders. The association sponsors classes and workshops, and creates new cider-themed events, including Cider Rite of Spring (4/10/19), BC Cider Week (April), Oregon Cider Week (June), Washington Cider Week (Sept), Montana Cider Week (Oct), and an annual cidermakers’ meeting.
